	ABOUT NORTHSIDE INSPECTIONS
	I got my start in the Residential Construction and Home Maintenance business working with my grandfather at a very young age. My grandfather taught me the importance of integrity, sound maintenance practices and a genuine care for people. He also taught me the importance of periodic and preventative maintenance for the home. After working in construction and home maintenance for several years, I joined the military and spend the next 20 years traveling. While in the Navy I bought and sold numerous homes and covered a lot of ground in Home Maintenance and repair. During my career in the Navy, one of my primary duties was the care and periodic maintenance of our modern day fighter jets. Working on multi-million dollar aircraft leaves no room for mistakes or shortcuts in maintenance. The same holds true for our homes. Over the years I've experienced the high cost of shortcuts and neglect. What's that old saying; "An ounce of prevention"? I provide a unique service for my customers, whether it's a Complete Home Inspection, a Home Maintenance Check-up or a Home Maintenance Service Plan. I use state of the art test equipment, sound maintenance practices and a genuine care for your home. I've attended, graduated and have been certified by the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors (GAHI). I'd like to share this knowledge with you as a home owner. What is a Home Inspection
A good home inspection includes a thorough examination and assessment of all the main components of a house from the peak of a home to depths of the basement. Sure, anyone can get a flashlight and a pad of paper and make note of that gaping hole in the side of the house. But can an inspector tell if a roof is almost worn out or that the electrical system is wired properly?

GAHI Trained Home Inspectors
GAHI home inspectors examine all major home components. This investigation includes a thorough review of the home’s exterior, roofing, attic areas, electrical components, plumbing, heating and air conditioning and the basement or crawlspace. Depending on the size and type of house, a typical home inspection’s length of time can range from three to four hours. The inspector will produce a detailed report identifying all major areas of defects.
